Extra Efficiency model GSHC Ground-Source Heat Pump
Back
to Ground Source Heat Pumps
Ground
temperatures are affected little by hot or cold weather conditions.
Since the geothermal heat pump does not use the fluctuating
outside air temperature, it is capable of using less energy.
A ground source system does not convert electricity into heat;
rather it uses electricity to move thermal energy between
your home and the ground. This process makes the geothermal
system highly efficient.
